For our first overseas job of 2019 Social Espresso were off to Dublin! Our expertise in providing coffee catering for conferences was on show at BTOG 2019 – the 2019 Annual Conference of the British Thoracic Oncology Group. BTOG is the multi-disciplinary group for healthcare professionals who are involved with thoracic malignancies in the United Kingdom, and they aim to contribute towards achieving survival rates from thoracic malignancies which are equal to the best in the world.
Our mobile baristas were brewing coffees on one of the conference stands for all three days of the event, using our La Marzocco coffee machine set up on a speciality coffee bar, and serving our house blend which we hand roast in-house at our unit in Deptford.
