Gilly Hicks is a lingerie brand owned by Abercrombie & Fitch, it specialises in women’s intimates and loungewear. Its first store opened in Massachusetts in 2008, but in 2013 Abercrombie & Fitch announced it would close all Gilly Hicks’ retail stores, only continuing the brand online. However, due to popular demand, Gilly Hicks was resurrected in 2017, focusing in younger women.
Last month Gilly Hicks were launching their new store (the only stand-alone Gilly Hicks store in the UK) in the Westfield shopping centre in Shepherd’s Bush in West London, and they asked Social Espresso to provide a mobile coffee stand for their press day.
As well as our mobile coffee stand, we were asked us to provide five different bespoke coffee stencils to match their different product lines. The idea was for guests to be able to pour chocolate onto their own coffees.
Along with the custom cappuccino stencils, the client had a fully wrapped branded bar along with branded cups. This meant that every person visiting the press day would leave carrying some form of Gilly Hicks branding, which great promotion for the brand.
