A Look Back at an Exciting 2019 for Social Espresso

2019 was truly the start of Social Espresso’s impact on the industry. We can’t help but reflect on what has been an incredible year for us. From serving coffee at some of the most prestigious events across Europe to traveling to iconic cities, we’ve had the privilege of sharing our passion for exceptional coffee with thousands of people. Here are just a few highlights from our year.

Sky Event in Walpole Park: Coffee and Conversation with Hillary Clinton

One of the most memorable moments of 2019 was providing a two-day, 10-barista service for a major staff retreat for Sky. We were tasked with caffeinating the 600+ attendees. We had four coffee stations across the site and a coffee truck that we had specially branded up with Sky’s logos. Halfway through the day we were abruptly stopped by the USA’s Secret Service as they were securing the area for the arrival of none other than Hillary Clinton. It was great to be part of such a significant occasion, serving up expertly crafted coffee to attendees and adding a touch of energy to the conversations and networking that filled the room.

London Fashion Week

For the third year running we provided five bars at the legendary London Fashion week. The week took place in September across five days. We were supporting our client Lavazza serving all the bars with staff, equipment and great customer service. It was definitely an event to remember!

A Scenic Coffee in Lake Lugano Switzerland

Our travels took us to the stunning Lake Lugano in Switzerland, where we provided coffee service for a large medical conference. Against the backdrop of the crystal-clear waters and picturesque mountains, our coffee bars became a hub for delegates seeking a moment of relaxation and refreshment. It was an unforgettable experience to bring our craft to such a breathtaking location.

Exploring Europe, One City at a Time

This year, our journey didn’t stop at Switzerland. Social Espresso had the privilege of setting up shop in some of Europe’s most vibrant cities. From the streets of Paris to the bustling energy of Barcelona, from the charm of Dublin to the sun-kissed avenues of Lisbon, we brought our coffee expertise to diverse audiences. We also had the opportunity to serve in Munich and Amsterdam, connecting with new clients and making new friends along the way. Each city left a unique mark on our year and inspired us with its culture and people.

Whether serving thousands of guests at a corporate event or creating intimate moments at smaller gatherings, their dedication, skill and passion shone through.
