We recently ran a three-and-a-half day mobile coffee service in Madrid, Spain. We had two baristas, one La Marzocco Linea and one Mazzer Major coffee machine, and 40kg of a delicious Guatemalan coffee. The only thing left was some fresh milk for those flat white and cappuccino lovers.
If you have been to Spain before, like me you will know most supermarkets do not stock fresh milk, they stock only UHT milk. We have all used UHT milk in times of great need, however for a speciality mobile coffee service it just doesn’t make the cut. So before we had even booked the flight, I was already researching where we will be able to source the milk for our coffees.
Once we had touched down at the airport, we made our way straight to the venue. With the mobile coffee stand all set up, it was time to venture out to get the milk. An hour and half later and we were back at the venue with enough fresh milk to last for the first day of the event. We then made the same trip every day to ensure that our mobile coffee service provided only the highest quality coffees throughout the exhibition.
At Social Espresso, for every event (but especially those abroad), it’s important to us that we are prepared for everything. Without the experience or research for this event, who knows how long we would have been walking around Madrid to look for fresh milk. It’s because of this dedication that you know each time you book our mobile coffee service, you will receive the highest quality coffee with the best possible service.
